The 2002 Legislature has authorized the re-establishment of a Wyoming Seed Laboratory in Park County, Wyoming.

The new Denny Smith Memorial Seed Laboratory was officially dedicated on July 9, 2003. The lab should prove to be an excellent asset to the state of Wyoming.

The Seed Program functions within the WDA Technical Services Division include:

• Analyze regulatory samples for seed viability
• Analyze seed samples for compliance
• Ensure "truth in labeling"
• Consumer Complaint investigation
