BrucePac Recalls Ready-To-Eat Meat and Poultry Products Due to Possible Listeria Contamination

BrucePac is recalling approximately 12 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.

BrucePac is recalling approximately 12 million pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.   


The recalled products were distributed in Wyoming and throughout the nation to distributors and retail establishments including restaurants, schools, and institutions. The scope of the recall is rapidly growing and may include more products than what is currently listed in Wyoming. At this time, we urge consumers to check for the following details. Affected product brands known to be in Wyoming include:

·        Taylor Farms-Various Salads containing chicken

·        Member’s Mark Chicken Alfredo

·        Member’s Mark Southwest Style Salad containing chicken

·        Member’s Mark Hatch Chile Chicken Enchilada Club

·        Bellisio Foods- Atkins, Michelina’s, Various Frozen Dinners containing chicken

·        ConAgra - Udi’s Gluten Free Grilled Chicken Alfredo

·        Request Foods – Great Value Frozen Meals containing chicken

·        Rana Meals-Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo

·        Reser’s Fine Foods - Bistro 28, Don Pancho, Meals kits containing chicken

Listeriosis can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and convulsions sometimes preceded by diarrhea or other gastrointestinal symptoms. An invasive infection spreads beyond the gastrointestinal tract. In pregnant women, the infection can cause miscarriages, stillbirths, premature delivery or life-threatening infection of the newborn. In addition, serious and sometimes fatal infections in older adults and persons with weakened immune systems. Listeriosis is treated with antibiotics. Persons in the higher-risk categories who experience flu-like symptoms within two months after eating contaminated food should seek medical care and tell the health care provider about eating the contaminated food.
