Rodent and Predator Program
The Animal Damage Management (Rodent/Predator) Program functions of the WDA Technical Services Division are multi-faceted. Primary duties include:
- Administrator for the Animal Damage Management Board
- Administrator for the Wildlife/Livestock Disease Research Partnership
- Wildlife/Livestock Disease Research Partnership Grants
- Coordination of activities with the Predatory Animal Advisory Board
- Coordination of activities with the 23 County Predatory Animal Districts
- Training of pesticide applicators for the M-44, Livestock Protection Collar, and small animal management supplies and techniques
- Working with Federal, State, County, local agencies and related wildlife and livestock associations in areas of wildlife and predatory animal issues
- Aerial Hunting Permits
- Aerial Hinting Aircraft Registration
- Wolf Management
- Rabies
