The goal of this grant is to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops in Wyoming by increasing the production and consumption of fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, horticulture and floriculture. Projects considered in 2026 must have a start date no earlier than January 1, 2027 and end date no later than September 1, 2029.

2026 Application Process
- Complete Application and Appendices A, B, and C (above). These four documents constitute a complete application packet. Incomplete application packets will not be accepted.
- Email your complete application packet in pdf form to Michelle MacDonald at michelle.macdonald@wyo.gov. Receipt of application will be confirmed by email receipt notification.

SPECIALTY CROP PRODUCER RESEARCH SMALL GRANTS AVAILABLE THROUGH JULY 2025!
The Wyoming Department of Agriculture is now awarding small grants toward research and extending the growing season of specialty crop producers. This grant is aimed to help improve specialty crop production problems associated with Wyoming's short growing season.
All grant projects must be completed by September 1, 2025.

- Application will have an initial review for missing information.
- Projects from qualified applications will be ranked by a review panel.
